STLOpen Days - Edition 2024

After the first edition of STLOpen Days in 2019, STLO has a lot to show in 2024!

• Come and see our renovated buildings, and our new facilities.
• Come and learn about our new research lines and projects.
• And above all, come and celebrate with us the 20th anniversary of STLO!

STLO, the “Science and Technology of Milk and Eggs” research unit has been working in the field of milk and egg products, for more than twenty years. More recently, we have opened research lines on plant-based foods and animal-plant mixes.

Our research has thus contributed to significant advances in these two essential components of our diet (milk and eggs) and their combination with plant-based foods:

• through new research lines that include plant matrices, human nutrition, health and animal health, and eco-conception
• to support dietary transitions towards a more plant-based and less environmentally damaging diet
• to develop industrial applications and societal impacts through a win-win relationship with stakeholders and a strong and fruitful partnership with the private sector

STLO’s infrastructure has evolved accordingly to keep meeting the highest standards in research and development.

During the STLOpen Days, you will have an overview of STLO’s research works and recent achievements in the fields of processing, microbiology, physico-chemistry, nutrition, life cycle assessment. You will also be invited to visit our infrastructures and will be guided by STLO researchers and engineers who will be happy to answer your questions.
